Police on Wednesday arrested an Eritrean national on the suspicion that he had been acting in Israel on behalf of a terror organization.
The arrest came several few days after Israel commenced operation “Returning Home” aimed at deporting Africans residing illegally in Israel.
According to the Israel Police International Crimes Unit, Kibari Gabriosous, 22, a resident of Tel Aviv, raised money among African migrants and laundered it before transferring it to a Sinai-based terror group.
Gabriosus was arraigned in the Rishon Lezion Magistrate’s Court.
