The UN nuclear watchdog said on Wednesday it had failed to secure an agreement with Iran during two days of talks over disputed atomic activities and that the Islamic Republic had rejected a request to visit a key military site.

In the second such trip in less than a month, a senior team from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) had traveled to Tehran to press Iranian officials to start addressing mounting concerns that the Islamic Republic may be seeking to develop nuclear weapons.

It is just more of the same delaying tactics. The mullahs may believe they can do this indefinitely. After all, the same approach has worked for years.

The journalists probably had their news (press papers) all prepared for this climatic conclusion. Sound's eerily like Iraq.

No, it sounds like the mullahs. They signed the NPT but they refuse transparency.

Correct. I guess I was hoping the outcome would be brighter. But, deep down I think I already knew the outcome too.

Who's surprised? Can anyone other than Israel-bashers believe Iran is not building a bomb when they prevent the IAEA from inspecting where they happen to be building it? How naive!

Actually, the Israel-bashers are the only ones. Even the EU, IAEA, and UN believe thay are in violation.

Do what does that say of those who spout the Iranian line?

The IAEA is a joke and the results were known before they even departed for the so called second meeting.

How could people actually be disappointed in the results? The stalling is as plain as the arrogance that Iran shows. They are a force to be reckoned with and a true danger that should not be underestimated.

There will be instability in that region of the world with or without military conflict only the body counts will differ.
